CHAMPION IN ME - Red Ribbon Revolution conceptualized and initiated by Elvis Joseph – Director of Bangalore Schools Sports Foundation with a clear vision, objectives and focus to unite communities, organizations, institutions towards a common goal, building bridges of Hope breaking barriers in the community through sports as a medium a holistic approach “ERADICITANG STIGMA and DISCRIMINATION “among children and youth living with HIV/AIDS in the country and bringing them to the mainstream through sports as a medium of transformation

CHAMPION IN ME is a customized and well designed first of its kind Sports event organized in the country, The project was inducted in 2009 with the foundations vision partner Sneha Care Home a residential support and care center for CLHIV to unleash the hidden talents, recognizing the reality to foster healthy child development, A holistic approach to educate and balance between various aspects, with sports and healthy lifestyle being one of them./

The CHAMPION IN ME is a customized sports Module exclusively for HIV positive children, where in children from various support and care centers from all over Karnataka will participate in organized sports camps, clinics, & annual competitive events with an objective of breaking down barriers, building self esteem, confidence and healthy behavior all of which can be used in tackling critical issues To build a strong foundation for the children by ensuring quality of life and addressing the felt needs on Health, Education ,Nutrition ,Spiritual, Psycho Social support ,Co Curricular Activities Sports as a Holistic approach

“One third of people living with HIV are young children under age 17, many of whom are longing to be involved in sports, either as spectators or as participant. It is important for young people to have access and opportunity “The Right to play Sport” so that they can stay fit with more confidence and lead healthy and productive lives
